When Grey Beaver is unable to trade his furs, he reluctantly trades his loyal wolf-dog, White Fang, in exchange for gold. His new owner is an evil man who cages and torments White Fang so as to transform him into a hateful fighting dog.

Smith forces White Fang into dog fights for money. During one fight, White Fang is severely injured. He is rescued by an animal lover who stops the fight and takes him home to become their family pet. |
